Patmos Mozaic

Saint John the Theologian stands within the rocky landscape of Patmos, haloed and robed, while a seated scribe records the sacred words beside a cave. The arched mosaic presents the traditional Orthodox memory of John’s exile on the island, where he received the vision that became the Book of Revelation.
