Crezul apostolilor

The Apostles' Creed is presented as a sacred illuminated text, written in ornate Gothic calligraphy and framed by Christian symbols of faith, Scripture, resurrection, and eternal life. The central confession proclaims belief in God the Father Almighty, Jesus Christ His only Son, the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, forgiveness of sins, resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.

The wording follows the historic baptismal confession of the Church, summarizing the gospel: Christ conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, crucified, buried, risen on the third day, ascended into heaven, enthroned at the Father’s right hand, and returning to judge the living and the dead. The surrounding emblems—including crosses, Alpha and Omega, open Bible, dove, fish, crown, and triangular Trinity forms—reinforce the Creed’s witness to apostolic doctrine and Christian worship. This artwork serves well for catechism, church education, confirmation, liturgy, and teaching the foundations of Christian belief.
