The Fiery Furnace

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stand unharmed within the blazing furnace while a fourth heavenly figure appears beside them. Outside the inferno, fallen soldiers lie overcome by the heat, and the astonished king turns toward the flames with armed attendants at his side. In the background, the towering idol recalls the royal decree that demanded worship from all people. The scene depicts Daniel 3, where faithful servants of God refuse idolatry even under threat of death. Their deliverance reveals the Lord’s sovereignty over earthly power and His presence with His people in trial. The furnace becomes not a place of destruction for the faithful, but a testimony that God is able to save and that worship belongs to Him alone.
