În pustie Domnul oferă produse alimentare pentru copiii lui Israel prin furnizarea de mană din cer, care este adunat la primele raze de zori. Femeie cu baietii ei sunt în lor cortul deschis şi băieţi ţineţi cosuri de mana.

35 The people of Israel ate the manna forty years, till they came to a habitable land. They ate the manna till they came to the border of the land of Canaan.
